I used to race ATVs but am now looking to get into something with a cage.  Im wanting to race ITA or IBA classes.

Im located in Fort Wayne Indiana.

I found a track just SW of INDY and I found a few in MI around 3 hours from me.

Looking for advice on how to get started.  Should I join a club, or get a race license before buying a car?

I read on one tracks website they had a racing school and you could rent a car from someone to compltete it.  They also had car rentals for racing as well.  I would love to do that until I get a feel for it.

I want to go watch a race and maybe meet some people bfore going much farther.  What track shold I go too?  Any specific dates?

I would join the SCCA and go to a meeting for your region. You'll find people to point you in the right direction.
